Search the Entire Web Site and Weblog
This web site was created to support Sun Microsystems (1982-2010 - now part of Oracle) and their line of UNIX based products. The main page contains hundreds of links to products that work in conjunction with Oracle's Solaris Operating Environment. In addition to Solaris there are some links to Linux based products as well. Oracle has it's own Linux distribution called Oracle Enterprise Linux. OEL is the same as CentOS in that they are both derived from the source code made available by Red Hat. In addition to the main page the following topics are covered on this site:

The main web page includes two accelerator keys that may enhance your ability to use that page. If your browser supports it, use the Meta key in Unix or the Alt key in Windows along with the lowercase g to expand all sections, or the lowercase b to collapse all sections. e.g.:
Alt-g to Expand all
Meta-b to Collapse all
I wrote the search engine for the main page in ECMAScript. You can search on any part of the products URL or any part of the anchor text. The search engine uses the window.open method to display the results and some pop up blockers may stop you from seeing the results because of that. The web accessibility initiative does not like the use of mouse clicks to activate functions therefore the search function relies on the tab key to activate that function.
In addition, please keep in mind that some products should belong in multiple categories. I try to list the vendor's product in what I feel is the most appropriate category and not all the categories that a product could be listed under. If you disagree with where a product is currently listed please let me know. I'm always happy to move things around based on solid reasoning. If you want a link added or deleted or just have a general comment on the site, please let me know via e-mail.
If you are running a web page and you are also selling a product please consider adding a link to "Supported Systems" or add a "System Requirements" tab somewhere on the site so people will know if their systems are supported or not.
Thanks for using the site.
